Summary

The colors and materials selected for the project take their cues from the light in nature: the changing radiance of dawn and dusk; the light of the sun passing through the day; the shimmering and glistening of light in the rain and the colorful Northern lights illuminating the night sky. The theatre-goer experiences the play of light, telling a different story in every room. The comprehensive interiors program for this performing arts center includes a 3,000-seat auditorium, a 400-seat lecture hall, two lobbies, donor lounges, restrooms and a cafe.
