California Design, 1930–1965: "Living in a Modern Way" at LACMA
 
This exhibition is the first major study of California midcentury modern design. With more than 300 objects—furniture, ceramics, metalwork, fashion and textiles, and industrial and graphic design—the exhibition examines the state’s role in shaping the material culture of the entire country. Also, featured a video on Deborah Sussman speaking on design.

Ballona Discovery Center

Ballona Discovery Park is an outdoor museum that spotlights the natural history of the Ballona Wetlands, focussing on cultural developments, ecological connections and current restoration efforts. Sussman/Prejza helped to coordinate the efforts of a diverse team of stakeholders to illustrate the captivating story of the wetlands and how people can have both a negative and positive impact on this complex system.
